What does responsible gaming mean?

Responsible gaming means treating gaming as a form of entertainment — not a way to make money. At k12x, we believe every player's mental well-being and financial security matter above all else. That's why our platform includes tools designed to help you stay in control.

Online gaming is growing fast in Bangladesh, and many people have made it part of their everyday entertainment. For a small number of people, though, it can become a problem. That's why k12x has developed its responsible gaming policy — to help you stay aware and take action before things go wrong.

Gaming stays healthy when you have a clear idea of how much time and money you're willing to spend — and you stick to it. Responsible gaming doesn't mean enjoying yourself less; it means your enjoyment lasts longer and means more.

Keep in mind: Gaming is entertainment. If it's causing financial stress or relationship problems in your life, it has gone beyond the boundaries of responsible play.

At k12x, our approach to responsible gaming is built on a few core principles: transparency, player autonomy, proactive support, and strict age verification. These principles guide every feature and decision we make.

K12x Responsible Gaming Features

We provide these features to help keep your gaming experience safe and in control

Set Deposit Limits

Set how much you want to deposit daily, weekly, or monthly — in advance. Once a limit is in place, it takes effect immediately, and any increase requires a mandatory waiting period.

Session Time Limits

Set your session length in advance. Once the time is up, k12x will automatically notify you and give you the option to end the session if needed.

Cooling-Off Period

If you feel like you need a break, you can pause your account for anywhere between 24 hours and 30 days. During this time, you won't be able to place bets or make deposits.

Self-Exclusion Feature

If you want to step away from gaming for an extended period, you can self-exclude for anywhere between 6 months and 5 years. This takes effect immediately and cannot be reversed before the period ends.

Gaming History Review

View a full breakdown of your gaming activity over the past 30, 90, or 365 days — including total spend and profit or loss. Clear data helps you make informed decisions.

Reality Check Notifications

A message appears on screen at set intervals, reminding you how long you've been playing and how much you've spent. That small nudge can make a real difference.

Top Responsible Gaming Tips

Only Play with Disposable Income

Set aside a separate entertainment budget each month and keep all your gaming within that limit. Never use money meant for rent, food, or your children's education.

Set a time limit before you play

Decide how long you'll play before you sit down. Set a timer on your phone. When it goes off, stop — whether you're winning or losing.

Don't play on impulse

Avoid gaming when you're angry, frustrated, or under stress. Your judgment is impaired in those moments, and the risk of making harmful decisions increases significantly.

Don't chase your losses

Chasing losses by betting more to recover what you've lost is a dangerous habit. Accept the outcome and come back another day.

Be Open with Family & Friends

There's no need to hide your gaming. Talk openly with the people close to you. If someone expresses concern, take what they say seriously.

When Should You Seek Help?

If you notice any of the signs below, it may be time to seek help:

Constantly thinking about gaming

Thoughts about gaming or betting won't leave your head — even at work, with family, or when you're trying to sleep.

Needing bigger bets for the same thrill

You need to spend more and more to get the same enjoyment you used to.

Unable to stop gaming

Despite repeated attempts, you keep playing beyond your set time or spending past your budget.

Financial problems are building up

You're taking on debt, missing bills, or hiding money from family because of gaming.

Responsible Gaming FAQ

Log in to your account and go to Profile > Settings > Responsible Gaming. There you'll find separate options to set daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately, but increasing one requires a 24–48 hour waiting period.

Yes, any balance in your account before self-exclusion is activated can be withdrawn. Once self-exclusion is in effect, no new deposits or bets will be accepted, but your existing balance remains protected. Contact support@k12x.ws for more details.

A cooling-off period is a temporary break — ranging from 24 hours to 30 days. Once it ends, your account access resumes automatically. Self-exclusion, on the other hand, is a longer-term commitment — from a minimum of 6 months up to 5 years. To reactivate your account after a self-exclusion period ends, you'll need to contact our support team.

Start by having a calm, honest, and compassionate conversation with them — express your concern without placing blame. You can also reach us at support@k12x.ws and we'll help connect them with the right support. For professional help, consider consulting a mental health specialist.

Yes, k12x strictly enforces an 18+ policy. Age verification is mandatory at registration. Suspicious accounts are reviewed, and any account found to belong to a minor is closed immediately. Parents are advised to use parental control software on their children's devices.

You can set how often a reality check appears — every 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours. When the reminder pops up, it shows how long you've been playing, how much you've deposited, and your session's profit or loss. From there, you can choose to continue or stop.
